The weekend before Memorial Day of 2023, I took a trip to Washington DC.

On the morning of my last day in DC, I checked out of the AirBNB and went to my last three stops - all by city bus, and while hauling my suitcase. I started with McKenna's grave at Mt Olivet Cemetery. From there I went to Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland MD. Sutherland is interred in the man crypt off the chapel in the hall known as "The Sanctuary of Truth."

Fellow justice Abe Fortas is buried in this cemetery in an unmarked grave.
